About DipDose

DipDose reads any brand’s pool or hot tub test strip from one photo and tells you exactly how much of the chemicals you already own to add. The free calculators on this website do the same maths when you type your readings in.

You hold the dipped strip next to its bottle’s color chart and take one photo. The app compares each pad with the colors printed on that same bottle, on your phone. The photo is never uploaded.

Every dose comes from the same calculations, in the app and on this website. The product label always wins: if the label and the app disagree, follow the label.

DipDose is an independent app. It is not made by a pool chemical brand or a test strip maker, and brand names appear only to say which strips or products it works with.
